Fake news

The US government isn’t giving them shite. They are forcing the US taxpayers to give it to them.

750 dollar one time payment is a disgrace. That was the biggest natural disaster in the US in some time.

Serious question. What CAN we do about other than electing more patriotic politicians?

Electing Trump is a good start but 90% of Congress needs to be replaced.

No, he’s giving 3.4B to an organization who will pay some of it out to those people, after they stick >50% in their pocket or ship back to US politicians.

You do realize Congress recently passed a bill providing 100 Billion dollars of aid to the hurricane victims.

Yet we shut down for New Year’s Day and don’t get the paid. Doesn’t bother me till I see my tax dollars paying foreign countries salaries.

New Orleans, Detroit, Las vegas, Chicago and Baltimore could sure use that money to improve security and fight crime. Pathetic. America First should be our goal.

Dumb question: how can the Executive Branch do this unilaterally without Congressional approval?

Where in the F**K is the money coming from??? I thought we didn't have enough to run our own country without passing a CR bill to cover us for a couple months. Who authorized this money for Ukraine? It has to come from congressional appropriations, so when did congress appropriate this money for Ukraine?

Or is this money that is tucked away in a slush fund somewhere for "discretionary spending"? Could this possibly be some of the money that the Pentagon can't account for in their seventh consecutive failed audit?

All I want to know is who ultimately authorized this funding for Ukraine, because the president has no constitutional authority to provide funding like this of his own accord.
