A few teams desperate to win a ring like golden state will go all in for him. It’s worth the risk given there’s really no one else with his potential to be had

I can BS on this. There isn't an Eastern team giving up their best assets for Zion. What team and what player(s)?

I mean lets take a team like Cleveland for example, you’re obviously not going to get Mitchell out of them, but they absolutely would throw Garland and every pick they have if they had picks.

So what is "all in" then?

The Cavs have no picks. So it would be Garland for Zion. I don't think the Cavs would do it, and it really doesn't help us any. But it's something.

I just don't see a team giving us a haul or a star player, like the OP is sayinf. Even his quote said, if he made the decisions. Which means he has no authority to make a move or a trade. He's just a big Zion believer. So it is a nothing burger..

That would depend on the team involved, theres 29 teams that an all in offer would look different for because alot of them don’t have assets or they don’t have the salary or maybe restricted by the aprons.

Hard to say what an all in offer is unless you specify a team.

If it were him making decisions, but it isn't.

Charlotte

That would look like:
Brandon Miller, Grant Williams, Micic and 3-4 picks for Zion, Jose and another minimum salary

I'm just saying charlotte due to he's from around that area and that's who would want him

I gotcha.

Yeah I think Charlotte, Nets, Heat, Pistons and 6ers are the most obvious “fits” for Zion that also have the assets to put together an all in offer for him. In the offseason you could add a few more teams to that.

An "all in" for the Hornets would include Ball. The 76ers would have to be Embiid or Maxey. The Pistons would be Cunningham. The Nets would have to be a ton of picks, including this years lottery pick.

Just be realistic, none of that is going to happen. Maybe we'll just a high upside prospect and some protected picks. But no haul is coming..

Crazy, a couple years ago I was told on here Mitchell was the most overrated ‘star’ in the league. Now he’s untouchable.

I don’t believe this for one second.

And if it’s even remotely true, then send his arse out of here at some point in the next 5 weeks.

Look at the OP. The exec said his team, if he could, he'd go all in to get Zion.

Going all in isn't just a competitive offer. It should be a top end offer of the teams best asset or assets. Or a team dumping everything they have to put them over the top. Its a haul.

Ummm no…

All in offers are to pair a guy like Zion with Ball, Cade, Embiid or Maxey, not trading them away to get Zion.

Lakers went all in for AD, obviously they weren’t including Lebron in that.

Same for Phoenix, they went all in for Durant, but they obviously weren’t going to put Booker in the trade.

Knicks for Bridges, they went all in to pair him with Brunson.

An all in offer from a team that has a star player already won’t include that star player.
