Are we sure Jayden Daniels is good?

I've seen him play like a panicky bitch at least as often as I've seen him play well.

BayouBaw isn’t gonna blow you
Actually he might

The same posters that are ready to anoint him as elite will tell you Stroud sucks.
I hope he’s good, but there’s certainly no reason to crown him yet if you aren’t being biased

I'm not sure yet, next year will tell us alot more about him.

The redskins are like the giants without JD.
They’d be among the worst in the league.
Instead, they’re going to the playoffs.

I don't get why he's so panicky with the pocket.
I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt when he had the ribs and maybe they're still sore?
Better on that drive

You watch him for the last 5 years?

He’s pretty good. Has potential to continue improving. I think he’ll settle in as a top 10 QB which is plenty good enough.

I don’t think it’s much of a reach to consider him “good”

He’s been pretty average after the hot start. He’s a rookie so I’m not commenting on whether or not he’ll improve, but for the sake of argument, let’s say this season is relatively his level.
Do you want to mortgage your franchise on him and pay him $60MM a year? I wouldn’t, you’re stuck in purgatory paying an 11-15 qb that money. Dak, Cousins, etc.
Again, he’s a rookie and he may very well get way better, but good doesn’t cut it anymore

Each game that goes by he makes me think a better version of Dak Prescott. Start slow and rack up stats in the second half.
If not for a few miracles his team has a losing record. He needs to get in gear sooner and not wait for his team to get down.

That’s a lot of overanalyzing for a guy with less than 1 season of starts

You have to decide to pay them after year 3 so I disagree

He's a rookie playing on a team bad enough to have the 2nd overall pick. The currently have 10 wins.

Watching this game his line is not giving him a lot of protection.

This is a little disingenuous to be fair. Tons of injuries last year and less truly horrific teams. They’re definitely improved, but to give all the credit to JD isn’t true
