Her and Archbishop Aymond are very close.Aymond allowed Brian Matherne, a coach at Sacred Heart of Jesus School in Norco, to remain in his post for several months after receiving information from an alleged abuse victim's father that Matherne had molested his son 13 years earlier.
Matherne wound up pleading guilty to molesting 17 children in 15 years
very questionable and suspect activities from Gayle here

It’s a sensationalized headline but Gayle is no different than 95% of the other scummy billionaires. A great amount of effort and money go into her public appearance but you know she would gladly screw over anyone in Louisiana if it meant she could make a few extra dollars. I mean for fricks sake it took AD leaving for her to hire legit sized management and scouting department, and it took the players making a huge fuss in there exit interviews for her to hire a legit training department.

My understanding is she helped keep the Diocese financially solvent after having to pay for all the damages from the settlements. Those victims deserve every penny for what those POS former priests did to them. Some went to jail and some didn’t. Maybe they passed away or the statute of limitations was up.
