I want to take my brother to the game next year. I’ve never bought tickets for an away game before, should I buy them now or wait longer?

Get them later this spring. It'll be a tough ticket to get. People that might not go to every Clemson game, like Clemson fans, will want to go to this one. If you can get them now, this spring, Get them. Also, book a hotel, too..if you'll need one. You can always cancel the reservation and rebook, if a better price shows up with availability down the road.

Wait of course.

The ticket prices for the USC game in Vegas were astronomical until the regular tickets got allotted, then they came down to earth.

Check SeatGeek also. Can always find good deals on there. Might be sitting with Clemson fans but will be fun.

Buy tickets the day of the game. I went to Vegas this year and sat on the 50-yard line in the Modelo VIP section. The tickets came with all you can eat and drink and were running $800-$1,000 a ticket, and I snagged them 15 minutes before kickoff at $400 a piece. They drop even more than that when people start panic selling to recoup anything they can.

This a home game for a team that was just in the playoff.
It will not be cheap
Already booked our Airbnb and and waiting for flights to open up dont know if I'd rather fly into Charlotte or Atlanta.
Its only about a 20 min difference

Just put in the request through your season ticket account in May, or, if you’re not a season ticket holder, ask a friend who is if they’ll request some for you. That’s the best way to get them for a reasonable price.

Outside the stadium on the day of the game.

Seriously, you’re gonna find seats and if you wait till just after kickoff, you’ll be likely to get relatively good seats for a deal…

The last couple of years United has added direct flights to and from BTR in connection to big LSU games. They do this all over the country. I kinda expect they’ll add a BTR-GSP flight the weekend of the game.

Ask a season ticket holder who isn't going to buy them for you.

I have done this for people.

With regard to flights and hotels if things get crazy you might want to fly out of Gulfport direct to Charlotte. Charlotte is 1.5 hour drive south to Columbia and hotels between Charlotte and Columbia should be much cheaper.
