And its actually not even close...

Missi has now added a solid floater, he has about 2-3 most moves now in his skill set when he is attacking the paint. Jokic didn't know which way he was going at times and unlike Zion (which everyone knows hes spinning left), once Missi gets another year in the lifting program he is going to be a real REAL problem.

Kyrie has more moves than Jordan and Kobe but he will never be them. Not a shot at Missi, just saying there’s levels

Did you seriously just put Zion in the same company as Jordan and Kobe?

I'm not disagreeing with you but like another poster said there are "levels".

If Zion was healthy and only taking 1v1 defenders every possession then we probably wouldn't have this thread.

We've waited six years for Zion to have a jump shot and Missi took all of 31 games to learn how to get by elite defenders multiple ways.

Yeah there are Levels to this alright

Yes there are "levels". Missi may have more "moves" than Zion but still not more "game" than Zion.

A healthy Zion double/ triple team will still put up better stats than Missi with more "moves".

Throw in a comparison of Zion actually having a shot or Missi getting 2 defenders every play and yeah there's "levels".

He still only has 1 move. No one said it’s not effective. But it’s pathetic that he still only has one move. That’s the OP’s point.

The issue with zion is, his play is not conductive to a healthy long career.

Ask Blake griffin if he wishes he developed a shot earlier in his career, he said he did.

Yes Zion has (1) move. But this post is saying that Missi will be a "real problem" "unlike Zion with his 1 move"

OP is saying Missi will be a "bigger problem" then Zion. Which is easy to say when Zion is non existent.

A healthy Zion with 1 move and double teamed is a bigger problem than Missi with his multiple moves.

This is why I explained if you give Missi double teams, or give Zion a shot, or give Missi (1) move there is no comparison at all.

If you think Zion only "has 1 move" you don't know anything about basketball.

Zion primarily scoring in one area of the floor =/= only having 1 move.

Yeah it’s kinda hard to be a problem when you don’t play

Also, if Missi continues on this trajectory, he will be able to handle double teams pretty easily. His length and ability to be crafty under the basket will pay dividends by year 6.

The point is this:

Zion in six years has failed to truly add anything significant to his game to help not only himself with longevity, but also the team.

On the other hand, Missi has shown so much growth in 30 games you have to have a hard time believing that anyone (including myself) actually saw this coming. Now he will at some point hit the rookie wall, but the portfolio of skill set Missi has demonstrated this early in his career has to leave you wondering what the ceiling really is for him.

Jab step right, dribble left, lower right shoulder into defender, attempt lefty layup. That’s his game in a nutshell. Not exactly a controversial take.

He might have the worst bag of any top 50 player in the league.

Zion is too fat to have any moves.
