Who’s that poster who said LSU always has been and always will be a Tier 2 school and that we need to lower our expectations and start expecting mediocre football in this NIL era? He started a big ole long defeatist-mentality thread about it.
He was acting like Bama has always recruited better than LSU every year since the beginning of time, which is not true. LSU had the advantage for a while until Nick Saban showed up in Tuscaloosa in 2007. A lot of people on here have PTSD from the Nick Saban era at Alabama, and they exaggerate everything.

If celebrating the fact that, despite most of this boards opinion on Kelly, he did exactly what he said he would do and is crushing the portal makes this a “crap” thread, so be it.
