I think NIL as is, Kelly would have never left ND. ND with this NIL is in a better place than 3 years ago. Without NIL ND would NEVER have won a natty. And they still probably won’t.

NIL has nothing to do with why ND couldn't win the big game. It's their admission standards that prevents them from getting elite talent. At least that's the line we were told when BK was hired.
