It's going to be nice to have a secondary without Sage and Major in it, Ryan starting at CB was as low as DBU can get.

Mansoor Delaney 6'1" 187 lbs. Starting CB past 2 years and played 8 games his FR year at Va Tech. Also played some Safety. 3 seasons had 16 passes defended, 6 int's, 4 forced fumbles, 146 tackles. 4 int's came this year as he led the Hokies in int's. Delane received multiple All-American and All-ACC honors. Has 1-year eligibility. Experienced and could start Day 1.

Coach knows reality. He has a QB with experience and knows he can't go 9-4 next year.
He's going for it..we make a great run at 10-2 and make playoffs, say make semis at least...
I think we go 10-2 regular season and have a chance...at a Natty.

Experienced and will start day 1. There I fixed it for ya. He’s starting at corner or safety day by end of first week in the spring.

You could make the argument for that lineup being the worst secondary LSU has fielded in the 131 year history of the university
