This is nuts. The kid put up all of his yards and TDs against Miss St, ULM, and UTSA. He threw 2 INTs at ULM.

I guess they really want a Manning to win the Heisman and this must be their last chance

Manning at 6 to 1 is nuts.

Connor Weigman at 14 to 1 is insane.

It's Nussmeier's to lose I believe, if he matures I think we'll be in business.

His turnovers killed us this year.

I don't understand. The Rant said he's trash.

This might be a good bet. This dude can make incredible plays with his legs. If he can be just serviceable with his arm and keep the turnovers down this is probably a good value bet.

This looks like good value too:

Ryan Williams 75/1

To be fair he played like trash in some very critical situations.

You'd have to be blind not to see the talent Arch has and had damn good he's looked at times, especially for an underclassman.

LSU fans weird obsession with him is embarrassing.

How would you even know? This is is stat line. Again, he only played against terrible competition. None of this screams "Heisman Front Runner"

Dude literally carried the team with a shitty offensive line, zero run game and no NFL receivers except a TE that's maybe a 3rd rounder.

Nuss is going to have to be perfect for the rant not to shite on him.

Don't like those odds, and I was looking forward to placing a Nuss for Heisman bet.
And what I mean is I was hoping more along the +1500 or better, not +700. I mean I'm happy he's way up there, but from a betting standpoint I'd look towards Sellers or Ryan Williams for a value bet.

Have you watched any of his games at all or are you just blindly looking at the stats?

The kid is a freak with legit athleticism, a huge arm, great accuracy and he's playing in an offense with other studs and one of the best play callers in the country.

Honestly outside of Nuss what other QB would you want next year over Arch?

I'm waiting out until T.J. Finley's line comes out.

Manning should be a heavier favorite.

Texas has a weak conference schedule again, so as long as he shows well against Ohio State in week 1 and against UGA, he shouldn't have any issues making it to NY.

Yes. In fact, here are all of his first half plays against Georgia in October. Texas pulled Ewers, but put him back in in the second half because Manning sucked.

The Georgia game was also immediately following his takedown of the powerhouses of UTSA, ULM, and Miss St. So it isn't like this was his first shot at competition.

It was his first shot against good competition though.

Nothing here screams Heisman.

Obviously I want Nuss to win. A 3rd Heisman qb since 2019 would be amazing for the program. But besides him this is who I would put my money on.

Not here advocating for Ryan Williams or any bama player, so don't get me wrong, but Nuss having the 2nd best odds has to be false

When you drop him back 500+ times in a season, it's not like you are giving the running game much opportunity to shine in the grand scheme of things.

I personally feel like the approach worked to our detriment. The 11 interceptions happened and some of them were untimely and inexplicably bad. Nuss also fumbled 4 times and two of them were lost.
