Coen has taken the Bucs offense from good to outstanding in just a year and turned Tampa Bay into an offensive juggernaut in 2024, evidenced by a 40-17 dismantling of the Los Angeles Chargers and the league’s No. 1 ranked scoring defense. Prior to kickoff, L.A. was surrendering just 15.9 points per game.
#4 in PPG
#3 in yards per game
#2 in completion %
#3 in 3rd down %
#6 in yards per play
#2 in yards per rush
#8 in yards per pass

Well, that’s something. NewOrleans.Football’s Nick Underhill reports that the Saints had Kentucky Wildcats offensive coordinator Liam Coen “in the mix” for the same job on their staff, though they did not ultimately offer him a contract. Instead, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports, Coen has an opportunity for a return to the Los Angeles Rams as their new offensive coordinator. He’s worked with Sean McVay before as quarterbacks coach.
Of course they kept Carmichael instead
This is the next dude and at 39 fits the young, up and coming OC mold ala Sean Payton. He’s a realistic candidate who will not only bring an elite scheme, but weaken a division rival. If he can make Baker a PRO bowler, he can definitely level up Rattler
BRING LIAM HOME
DRIVRMAN OUT

Would not complain.
Only question I have is what's his demeanor like because this team desperately needs someone with a strong personality that will hold players accountable not let them get away with half assing it like Allen would. But at the sometime a personality that the players can and rant to respect.

No just emphasizing the job Coen has done is impressive going back to when they lost Godwin and Evans for several weeks.

I still prefer vrabel over the cood's. I trust vrabel to draft well.

You have to take a chance on one of these young offensive coaches.

The thing about that is that I doubt Vrabel would even do an interview with us. He has his eyes on better destinations.
