Up the NIL offer and keep your guy. Him brown and Anderson would be as good as a top 3 any WR core has.

Considering he does leave I’d like to break the bank for Singleton. I’d feel really comfortable either way.

Nic Anderson and Micah Hudson would both be exciting additions as well.

I still think this core needs 2 more reliable WR along with another receiving TE. My assumption is Trey Dez Green will likely move back to TE anyway but I’d still like some competition there.

Yeah he’s one I’d really like to reel back in - seemed to have very sure hands.

I hope the TE from Oklahoma is a good run blocker; that’s been sorely lacking since Thad.

Personally, I don’t know what’s going on with the Daniels situation. If it’s true that he entered the portal as a means to squeeze more money out of LSU, I don’t like it. I will say that he was productive, and I’d love to have him back.

I agree. Of the 16 LSU players in the portal, the 2 I would like back the most are Daniels and Pimpton. To cheat a bit and add a 3rd, I like Suggs also. But I think the 2 that surprised Kelly the most...and me too BTW...are Daniels and Pimpton. I still think one of those will withdraw from the portal. As of now, neither has committed to another team

He’d be nice to have back especially what he does in the run game.

I bet Daniels an Auburn lock. I’m fine with him gone. Kyle Parker/treydez green/ Billiot all have the potential to outshine any production he was doing

While I'd love to keep Daniels, Brown is not that much smaller than him. Nic Anderson, on the other hand, is a big dude. I do think we need a 6'2+ guy in the mix at WR. Billiot is a big target. Maybe he develops. Maybe Sampson changes his mind and stays. Maybe Francis or Wright grow some between now and then.

Are you basing this on his performance this year?

Nuss missed a wide open pass to him in the OU game. He had a TD called back vs UF because Lacy fricked up and got called for Offensive PI. Can’t fault Daniels for either of those.

We have bigger needs than keeping Daniels, so I don’t think we should overpay to hold onto him. Parker is a younger WR in the same mold who was already good enough to get on the field as a true freshman. Pay him to stay 2-3 years over paying Daniels to stay 1.

Daniels isn’t a #1 but dude was super reliable when he was on the field. Kind of reminded a little of Jarvis Landry

The little film I've seen on Francis, he's physical and has that mentality you looking for.

I think he lands at Auburn. Him leaving hurts, but it’s not fatal. Him staying helps, but it’s not amazing.

Auburn has 3 stud freshman WR. Daniels won’t sniff field.
