The unknown Jersey drones look real impressive!! If no one is claiming these drones and one crashes or is shot down, is it finders keepers? Why is our government protecting these "unclaimed" drones?

I'm still amazed we can't see a better pic of these things. Its an intentional distraction is all I can gather of it so far.

If they were trying to hide, why do the drones have lights turned on

Hold up, I saw something almost identical to that over St. Amant and Galvez a few nights ago. I believe it was Wednesday night around 9:00pm. It was heading east northeast and was about 500’ in the air. I assumed it was a plane bc of the flashing lights but it looked smaller than a plane, which made me laugh to myself that maybe it was one of those drones. I thought it was odd for a plane to be so low and it wasn’t hauling arse like a plane would be. Do we have these things in the south now?

Exactly. All we have are pictures with lights. I want to see the actual air frame.

New line of drones... just in time for Christmas!.

For real though, do the NJ drones appear on their own equipment? How much heat is a battery powered drone up in the air going to put out?

Maybe someone has a better model drone than the "industrial" version that NJ state police have.

If they are 'undetectable' then this is a signal from our govt to Russia, China, and Iran of some new toys that we have. This is the wrong way to go about it, though. We have idiots in our govt. Utter and complete morons.

Last report I saw was 8 states reporting sightings.
Tho there's doubt on about 35% of the reports.
Now, are they false calls, or are agencies reporting them as false?

If I am china and I wanted to fly drones over the US, I would certainly not put bright flashing lights all over it. I would also not use swept wings which is a feature needed for high speed flight, not slow loitering flight which is better for surveillance.

And again, why have flashing lights?

Electric motors at high RPMs produce a heat signature. A noticeable one. Part of my job duties require me to periodically monitor motor heat with FLIR.
