get ja'keem jackson and jordan mathews as your 2 corners for roster and roster depth. then grab poryser and the puedue safety and boom you are done with your backfield

to be clear y'all I am not saying jackson and matthews are your starters. I am saying at least get them for more depth at the position

it seems like jordan matthews is not on the visiter list. c'mon bk. grab this guy!! he ran a 10.66 in the 100 and ran a 200 in a 21.42 and that was as a FRESHMAN IN HIGH SCHOOL! Can you imagine how much faster he has gotten since then and he is taller than me and I know this because him and his dad came to get gas at the sams club gasstation in denham springs where I work. Seems like an athletic freak and if he wants to come here why not take him and I can't imagine he is not good enough with his freak athletiscm and corey raymond coaching him. I am 6"2 and he is taller than me and he was running those times in high school. insane.

I really hope we at least try to get jordan matthews. he is here in town with his family visiting for the holiday and he is in woodlawn. it can't get any easier. c'mon bk!

Mathews hasn’t done anything at Tennessee and hadn’t really gotten on the field. There are CBs in the portal that have some game film

Much rather go after a guy like Tacario Davis or even Julian Humphrey as opposed to Matthews. Davis is 2 time all conference guy and projected day 2 draft pick and Humphrey has started double digit games in SEC. Matthews has done nothing at Tennessee

I thought Matthews didn't want to play at LSU.

He was offered and we didn't even make his top 3 when he was a recruit.

Why "get" those 2 instead of bringing back the guys that entered the portal that already know most of the system? Doesn't make sense trading depth for depth unless they're bad locker room guys.

He was upset the staff took so long to get on him after the turnover from O.

I think LSU is set at corner with Pickett Anding and Jackson coming in along with Stamps and Woodland returning, if you can add an elite starting corner by all means do it though.

Safety I’d love Thienamen but he screams B1G country, I’d be surprised if he leaves that conference. There’s smoke around Jacoby Matthews coming in and the Jacksonville State kid can play too, we’ll see who they add

I wouldn’t be mad about Jacoby Matthews.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see R. Collins(LSU) and Matthews(Tenn) head to Tulane.

Why are you people still basing your opinion off of proven erroneous HS ratings when there is actual game film on veteran players. This board is full of idiots and has turned into the Rant

Best corner in the portal in my opinion. Kid can play.

How bout we stop trying to force a kid to be a fit and upgrade just because he is from here. Matthews hasn't done anything in 2 years.

If the staff wants numbers, then Matthews is a good option. Him being from LA helps and his lack of PT will likely keep the price he commands lower. If we bring in 3, he’s an ideal 3rd guy assuming Raymond thinks he has potential.
