Because we're LSU fans and want to watch them play football.
I don't understand why a fan wouldn't want to watch.

Practice sessions. That's the reward. The bowl game is like a Spring Game on steroids.

What makes you think that? The players on the field that day will absolutely care

It’s a good way to get your qb killed with starting LT opting out

We get to watch the future players? And with nothing in the line no pressure for a letdown. I’m too old for that major disappointment crap

You could say that these days about every game…… you think it’s a coincidence all these crazy games w teams full of 5 stars losing to 3 star rosters. The only thing that too young mind really cares about is the checks clearing……. and they do.

DVinBR: If you choose to not watch the Texas Bowl, LSU will be ruined, shattered & devastated. The Football program may not recover. On behalf of LSU fans all over the world, I am getting down on my knees & begging you to please reconsider & watch the game against Baylor. The LSU coaches, players, support staff & the LSU Nation of fans are depending on you to watch. Do the right thing Please

I like LSU football and I'm happy to see them play another game before we have an 8 month hiatus from it.
Posted on 12/11/24 at 8:16 pm to DVinBR
Just don't watch it and quit bitching about it to people who mostly want you to stop.

1-If he's killed then we have time to grab another in the Spring portal lol
2-If our young oline can't protect Nuss, then at least we'll know now (see #1)

Im going because I like football and I love LSU football. Its kinda why most of us here to begin with no? And the club level at NRG is one of the best places in the country to watch a football game. Being at 230pm on new years eve wont help attendance but it works out great for me
Its in Houston and while it will not approach a sell out, it will be one of the better attended of the lesser bowls.

Bowl games have been going on for a century; players like it, fans like it and TV loves it.
