Shared it with Banks from Texas, but still love winning conference awards. Our hope for an All American selection is still very strong.

Love this list of previous winners:

1935 Bill May (fullback)
1958 JW Broadnax (fullback/halfback)
1978 Robert Dugas (offensive tackle)
1997 Alan Faneca (offensive guard)
2009 Ciron Black (offensive tackle)
2014 La’el Collins (offensive tackle)
2024 Will Campbell (offensive tackle)

Yeah man. So overrated. Every NFL scout should check with you before they take him with a 1st round pick.

Some NFL team will draft Will Campbell and will not have to worry about the left tackle position until 2040.

Let’s be honest- he had an average season for someone hyped as an all American . Sometimes these awards are won on reputation. He’s a less than average run blocker and elite pass blocker.

a great season for him or in general? he had the 3rd best pass blocking win rate in college football (according to PFF) and had considerably more pass blocking snaps than any other tackle in the country. he allowed 1 sack, 4 QB hits, and 8 hurries all season on 557 pass blocking snaps. That's an elite season

The only knock on him is the false starts, but that could have been on our center, the QB, or a host of other things. Our offense was many times not on the same page (*see all the burned timeouts), which can lead to false starts

How many penalties did he have in comparison to them?

By not allowing a sack all season, he finished his career with 22 straight games of no sacks allowed. He was credited with 104 key blocks/knockdowns.

Andrew Whitworth. People need to put respect on his name. Campbell is a distant 2nd to him
