Collectives aren’t the measure this guy thinks it is.

Maybe collectives is where the consistent money will come from.. but some programs have billionaires who can stroke personal NIL deals for their team.

That will never be reflected in any of these types of lists

Correct. None of these "rankings" are factoring in the "dark money" we all know exists outside the collectives. Not to say that money is dark as in not known about but not how much exactly and they don't factor that money into these collectives amounts.

I think you are exactly right on this. LSU has really good base level NIL. What we lack is the people willing to throw millions at a single player like Underwood.

Also LSU was going to pay Underwood. I think it was estimated LSU was going to give him a $5-7 million deal. That’s more than competitive. You just can’t outspend billionaires who throw money around without worry though.
