LSU Football not in Top 25 to end the season

Year 3 of BK’s era ends at an unanticipated level. How do we improve. The nature of the game has changed with the transfer portal. Will the transfer portal be altered to bring more program stability.

Again, sos isn't considered for 19-25. Go look at Sagarins ranking bcs used to use, not a human committee. We're at 17. It considers who you beat, who you lose to, and margin of those games. Not all 2 loss ranked, all 3 loss ranked, all 4 loss ranked.
Playoff was created to subdue sec dominance, and bring in teams as auto bids who would never earn it.
Boise is 30 and clemson is 18.
Yes it was disappointing to lose to usc in opener, and florida at the end. But we're definitely top 20 if schedule mattered anymore.

We had three losses when we played them, we were favored over an inferior team and lost by double digits and were eliminated from any contention with two games remaining.
No matter how you couch it, the season was an abject failure.

#21-#25 being ranked ahead of LSU are a complete joke, especially UNLV. Missouri and LSU had 6 common opponents. LSU was 4-2 to 3-3 for Missouri and had a better margin against every one of those 6 opponents. The difference is LSU played Ole Miss and at Florida instead of getting Auburn and Miss St.

I believe that 10 wins is the floor at LSU.
However, limited (initially) NIL $$$$ coupled with free agency
didn’t help matters.
More NIL $, younger (better) players (recruits) stepping up, and wiser scheduling will lead to success imho. Time will tell though.
