Lots of white coaches that suck get hired fired and hired again while there are still few black head coaches.

There were legitimate concerns about Bieniemy individually and how much he had to do with the offense (though has the Chiefs offense been the same juggernaut since he left?) plus some off the field stuff. Pete Carmichael was a similar situation and didn’t seem to get much tractor, but let’s not act like hiring NFL coaches is 100% always about merit. Bozos like SAS make it worse by crying “racism” all the time. But clearly there could be more black head coaches given at least a chance

Allen was already with the franchise and coached the D which was the strength of the roster after Payton

Mahomes and Andy Reed made him look good. Plus he's a low character guy.

Pro sports is the ultimate meritocracy… there’s too much money on the line NOT to hire the most likely candidate to succeed

Why are you LOLing at this? Do you honestly think someone like Bieniemy would be worse than Ebeflaus or Frank Reich?

On the field/court yes of course 100% agree.

that is not always the case with coaches. Something like 30-35% of HC and coordinators had an older male relative, dad, grandfather, uncle, father-in-law that was a coach. Some like Sean Mcvay, Belichick prove themselves, but sure Nathan Hackett was 100% hired on merit

You could say this about many coaches.

You made it about being black vs white.

Hence you’re the racist bozo

You said bienemy should have been given a shot because we should have more black coaches and “he’s probably better” than a coach or two that appear to be shitty

That’s not exactly what I mean/said In a league where 70% the players are black and many ex players go into there probably should be more black coaches just based on numbers. A few years ago when EB was OC in KC there were only 3, there are now 6. I do not think the lack of black coaches is because of overt racism ie “we ain’t hiring’ no blacks” but i don’t think it is 100% meritocracy either. I did have questions about Bieniemy whether you believe me or not but did think Byron Leftwich should have gotten a chance. The fact that both of them were subsequently fired is 20/20 hindsight since many coaches flame out. Im just saying would either have been worse than Eberflaus

A better comparison would be Nathan Hackett there is no way that clown got a HC job purely on “merit”. Is hiring someone whose daddy was a coach really better than hiring someone because he’s black? That’s all I’m saying
