Can dignity exist in a capitalist society?

Capitalism treats humans as a means to an end (profit), so can any human be dignified when they are essentially dehumanized by our economic system?

I don't need to read any qualifiers or framing to answer "Yes, obviously"

Yeah I knew there would be framing
"Capitalism" isn't this imposing force. You can see the leftism in your framing. Capitalism is the lack of an imposing force and the expansion of freedom.
Capitalism = freedom.

Why do you find giving people more freedom to lead to decreased dignity?
What about humans do you loathe so much to think this way, and how would you build a system to restrict their freedoms to increase this perceived dignity?

You going full Marxist now eh?
No more pretending?
No more pretending?

What system are you envisioning as possibly more "humanizing"?
What's more humanizing than free exchange between humans?

Well, that does seem to be how “discussions” work here.

The word you are looking for is Freedom.

I bet you got stuffed in a lot of lockers.

I’m only discussing capitalism.

You’re describing bartering.

You're aiming that attempt at a gotcha at the wrong white boy.

Please tell me how I'm essentially dehumanized. I'd really like to know.

It has existed best within capitalist societies over world history. No system is perfect, but some are abysmal.

Pack your shite and move to China, commie.

As capitalism is, by default, the lack of a "system", by implying that freedom dehumanizes humans, obviously there should be a system that would be more humanizing.

Only freely permissible within the context of capitalism.

The far leftist failure view.
Capitalism is a means to escape poverty for the capable. Losers in life are its victims.
Most incompetent leftists would prefer a monopoly with only the government as the sole provider.

In a vacuum? That seems nonsensical.

That’s not how capitalism works in practice.

Where does capitalism equal freedom?

Capitalism rewards greed. Undeniable.
It also rewards hard work, intelligence, and discipline. It's not perfect, but much better than the alternatives.

If you want to restrict or outlaw capitalism, you’re going to need quite a robust enforcement system and mechanisms.
And then you’ll really see dehumanization.
Moreover, restricting or outlawing capitalism does not make everyone equal and dignified. Haves and have nots will still exist.
All you do is strip opportunity from millions of people.

this shows how her mind works.
In the real world, those with ability thrive, those without ability depend on government.
Dignity is attained by accomplishments and integrity, not birth.
