Is next year the year we finally start putting some heat under Kelly's seat?

I mean we can only defend the rascal for so long. Look, I get it, he was dealt a pretty shitty hand when he took over and succeeded early. I mean I thought by now we would at least have a NY6 bowl win. In 3 seasons his biggest accomplishments are a big win at home against the gumps and an SEC West division title. I get that it is also a new day and age of recruiting, but gosh dog that is not looking good right now. I just feel like we gotta quit putting up with mediocrity and demand a season worth being proud of next year or Kelly's seat should begin to heat up.

I do too, but it’s getting too easy to spend everyone else’s money. We rely on the same folks to pay for salaries, NIL, and buyouts. I understand our team is mediocre, but I can’t expect our power brokers to keep paying to unfrick things.

They can’t afford the buyout and that money should be allocated to NIL anyway. Need to continue to stack talent

So in the age of NIL, Hambone, who probably calls LSU poor, wants to fire a coach and pay $60mm buyout….then hire a new coach, that will require a similar contract and max out for NIL. Got it.

A seat getting hot means that the coach can start worrying about getting fired. Brian Kelly knows damn well he isn't getting fired for at least 4 more years, even though he would gladly take a buyout.

It's fans like you that would've gotten Saban fired at lsu(5 losses in year 3),Kirby at UGA(3 losses in yer 3)Dabo at clemson(7 losses in year 3), and Harbaugh at Michigan(5 losses in year 3).
