Williams out of eligibility
Kaleb Jackson could not get much run this year so huge ??
Trey Holly might as well not exist

Harlem Berry true Freshman coming in

If you don't have faith in Kaleb...you probably have to get a senior RB that is a grinder right?

If you get jackson to play at 225, durham, Jackson, berry, Lindsey is a solid group. If holley comes back then no need. Berry isn't coming here to redshirt or sit the bench his fr year. He'll be getting alot of these ends around, motion dives we saw zavion on to get the ball in his hands.

Yeah I agree, but you still need a vet that can pass block, grind out yards, make tough plays, etc if you don't have faith in Kaleb (or he transfers)

Kaleb is almost certainly transferring.

Came into the year as a guy that they seemed to plan on splitting 50% of the caries with JW. By the 3rd or 4th game they decided he wasn’t even going to touch the field anymore.

I’d be surprised if he stuck around.

By far the most disappointing player this year.

This conversation assumes everyone with eligibility returns.

In that case, I don't think LSU "needs" a vet RB. However, I think they would consider one of the right guy/opportunity presented itself. What they NEED more is a new approach to the running game. Sloan's approach was awful. Jackson didn't suddenly go from a guy who showed great flashes to one who can't play. He just didn't fit in LSU's approach (he's more of a one cut, downhill back).

Durham was very good.
Holly's case will likely be resolved before next season and there is a reasonable chance he returns.
Berry will come in at a position that is the easiest to have immediate success. Lindsey is also there too.

"Need"? Probably not. Consider? Sure.

Fine for now.

Can always relook at things in the second portal window if something unforeseen comes up.

Much greater needs than RB right now.

That's great but I don't think you rely on him, you have him in the lockerroom and if he sees the field at all, great

I don't think they will know anything about Holly until the Spring at best right? So you can't count on him

Josh Williams played 47% of the RB snaps. That is a lot of snaps for someone else. Jackson would be dumb to transfer

I think this is the type of player that go and get.

To be clear I am not talking about them going out and getting a star. But definitely a vet that can play and grind if necessary.

A lot of kids are dumb to transfer. Doesn’t mean it stops them from doing it. I think we’ll have to get a complement to Durham in the portal, hope Holly can return, and one of Berry/Lindsey can get some touches.

He averaged 7 carries a game for the first 5 games. Not like the staff said f you, he wasn't producing.

Unless he wants to go to a small school, he won't he getting more then that at any other top program.

Zavion can't catch but he can run...fast and hard! Make him a part of the RB rotation. Where does Ju'Juan end up? He's a talented FB player. Does he stick as a RB or does he go back to DB?

So you think he sticks at RB? He has obvious skill with the ball in his hands.
