She was a sex symbol (Barbarella), anti war traitor (Hanoi Jane), anti nuke activists (The China Syndrome), exercise guru, Ted Turner (CNN) spouse, Christian (causing Ted to divorce her, her current beliefs are not Christian (she claims her beliefs are "outside of established religion" with a more feminist slant and views God as something that "lives within each of us as Spirit (or soul)", On Golden Pond (swan song), and current isolated nonentity that is sooo unaware!

Jane is older than your average boomer. She was over 30 when you weren't supposed to trust anyone over 30. Her whole life of commie activism is just to endear herself to the younger members of a generation she barely fits into.

She's fricking 87. I'd like to say she's senile, but she seems fairly coherent in the interview. That said, she'll still always be a "Commie Bitch" to me.
My father was a pretty easy going guy, who made efforts not to use foul language in front of his herd of children. Except in the case of Jane Fonda. If he heard her name on TV or conversation, the first words out of his mouth were, "that commie bitch".
