Kelly and Miles... National championships

If Kelly's tenure followed Saban's, CBK wins three national championships at LSU. There are approximately ten schools that should be able to compete every three to four years for titles. LSU is one of them... This ability is dependent on good coaching from top to bottom... Not great coaching but good 'coaching' including recruiting.

Miles under achieved for sure. 06 was a major miss along with 2011 and 2012

The 7-3 loss to Auburn in ‘06 was the most pathetic loss I can ever remember. To only score 3 with all that talent was a crime.

STOP! The slobbering over Saban is ridiculous. Saban lost 3 games with his recruits and his system. CLM maintained the program for well over a decade.
Y’all act like nothing happened in 2005. Season opener moved to Arizona. Bye week moved to week 2–played 11 straight games, which included the SECCG loss.
2011 LSU loses their OC a few weeks before the season starts and ends up in the BCSNCG, yet the only focus is “why didn’t he put in Lee?” A QB who had no mobility AND proved he could not handle Alabama. The issue wasn’t the QB it was the OL not being able to stop Alabama defenders who were in the backfield basically at the snap.

I think “program building “ is what you are thinking of. BK is good at it but unfortunately that’s an outdated skill set in this transfer/nil era.

I hope every lsu coach underachieves then.... he only had the most accomplished tenure in lsu history. As many top 5 finishes as Dietzel,Mac and saban combined.

It was time to fire miles when we did but to act like his tenure was anything short of great just shows your ignorance in regards to lsu's history.
If what miles did was so easy why haven't any other lsu coaches done it?
Why did the great Saban lose at least 3 games every year at lsu but one if it's so easy?
If lsu was guaranteed the next 10 years would result in miles' 10 years they would be stupid to not sign up for it.
