Considering/Assuming that USCe, UT x 2, and Georgia are in playoff. LSU tied w Mizzou, Ole Miss, Ala, and the Aggies w 5-3 conference record. Should get a decent bowl matchup. We'll see how all this shakes out.
Wouldn't mind playing Michigan in bowl game. Geaux Tigers!

Michigan would make a ton of sense. The Underwood saga and never having played them. Bring it on.

Why would we be top team over Bama of the non-playoff group you listed?

Bowl games want to sell tickets. Michigan/LSU in Tampa or Jax will be a neat game.

Nebraska or Michigan in the Music City Bowl

That would be a marquee matchup. But LSU vs Nebraska or Iowa in one of those sites is also a good matchup

Then LSU vs Michigan would be a winner. I’d love to play them in a bowl game.

The defense played really well yesterday surrendering only 10 points. How many will opt out of the bowl game? It will be a completely different team for that game.

LSU has a more impressive resume than Missouri or the Aggies, given who the Tigers have beaten. Alabama and Ole Miss are still a scosh above LSU in the picking order

I would definitely be there for either as close as it is.

This. The drama of the Underwood situation would draw eyeballs and motivate enough of the fans to show up to at least mostly fill the stadium. It would be a smart pairing to maximize what a regular bowl game can be today.

I don't know how well LSU would travel to yet another Florida bowl game. If LSU wants to sell tickets, the Texas Bowl would probably be their best bet due to the large amount of LSU alumni living there, plus it's an easy drive.

Me too. It would definitely, because I'm sure LSU has a bad taste in their mouth from losing Underwood. Playing them is good theater. We haven't played Nebraska since the 1987 Sugar Bowl.

Bowls rarely take same team twice, and stadium was pretty empty last year

Haven't been to Jax since they beat Sterling Sharpe and South Carolina.

Does it matter?

With all the outputs the other team will have, doesn't really mean much.

My guess is Houston, Jax, or Nashville
