Mike Wallace,WR Ole Miss, scored against TT in Cotton Bowl

Marshay Green, CB Ole Miss, scored on either a punt or an interception but almost score on both against tt in cotton bowl

Brandon Bolden, RB Ole Miss, scored in Cotton Bowl against TT

Patrick Trahan, LB Ole Miss via Auburn and JUCO, recorded a safety vs TT in cotton bowl

Jeremy McGee, CB Ole Miss via UCLA, intercepted a pass vs TT in Cotton Bowl

have you picked up on the trend yet?

All recruited by Yaw Yaw?

And here's my question: Is he a GREAT recruiter? Or a "dirty" recruiter? I heard through a high school coach that O isn't always "upfront" with his recruiting.

Follow-up: Do you care? Would you care if he was using questionable means to recruit for LSU???

Major Applewhite and Jarius Jackson are two that made big impacts at Texas and ND but never went to the pros...

You mean Arnaz Battle, right?

And I'd say he's been a competent pro.

Jackson was the QB for ND that beat us in 97 during regular season then we beat them in the INdy bowl...he's now in the CFL...I'm pretty sure he is from LA, but now i'm doubting myself. Looking it up now.

Actually you were right Jarius Jackson and Arnez Battle both went to Byrd in Shreveport. It prolly means he was born in Tupelo, MS.

Yaw Yaw was Pat Riley's DL coach at Miami, not sure if had a hand in recruiting or not.
