That position has been the Achilles heel for when things break down.

Like the idea, but may have to give echols a shot in his 2nd yr, and move Chester to lg

Hasn’t Paul Mubenga been improving a lot? He might be the starter at LG next year.

Hes looked horrible in every game, even vandy. He gets walked by on pass protection

Another dipshit that doesn’t know anything. He’s improved every game he’s played in. He actually looked better against Vandy.

Yeah that’s what I thought. Everyone’s acting like emotional children and not seeing the improvements in the team over the last few weeks. Another fact that everyone’s ignoring is the fact that we’ve found a running game from the Alabama game onward.

But we haven’t…. The average from UF/Vandy would be in the 90’s of all teams across an entire season vs the 100’s where we are right now.

I’ve said this a bunch of different places but Echols is the long term solution at Center. He’s a much more natural Center and played it at the end of his high school career. He slots in, Chester moves to Guard where he can just maul people, Curne starts Day 1 at the other Guard and we’re good.

Wrong you keep looking at sack yardage. Williams and Durham have been good the past 2 games. They had 160 yards on 33 carries vs Florida and 148 yards and 2 TDs on 28 carries vs Vandy. Those 2 have averaged 154 yards the past 2 games, which would put us at 76th.

Chester is a better fit at Guard at his height. If he’s not snapping and worrying about calling protections, he can just focus on blocking. He’s only a redshirt freshman, so there’s room for him to get stronger and improve his technique.

These two things might be true, but we can’t depend on them instantly being starters next year. The staff needs to go get at least two experienced OL from the portal and try their best to get Jones to return. Then you have the numbers for some real competition to get into that starting lineup and hold the job.

He can't hold up at center. How is he all of a sudden going to maul people at guard?

Need Mbeunga,Adams at Guards and Echols at Center...Davis needs to do his job and coach them up. Has recruited well but his OL regressed this year even before the injuries couldn't run block and physically look soft with no mean edge.

Chester needs to be sent back to Georgia! Like maybe Georgia Southern! Because Kirby still won’t want him!

20 yards per game seperates from being top 50. Also you're talking 28 and 33 carries.

For reference, we averaged 12 yards per game more in 2019 and Burrow actually gave us positive yards rushing.

Moock, that may be the longest post you've made since you and boudin man were talking about how Ole Miss was going to stomp a mud hole in LSU. You guys had a lot of fun with that one...until the game was actually played.

Go watch the Bama game. He has not improved every game. That is the worst showing from an O-Lineman I’ve ever seen at the division 1 level.

We should be giving several PT on the Oline with what we are losing for next year. They need the experience. It appears we will hit the portal, but still wish we get the new guys in more.
