I have no issues with him going to Michigan. Yes it sucks for us but a Michigan Kid staying in Michigan is no surprise and when you stack 10 million on top of that it makes total sense.
What I have an issue with is him stringing us along telling us he’s 100% committed. Posting pictures of him in an LSU jersey after reports of Michigan offering him 10 million. Then posting again that he declined Michigans offer on his instagram story. If he would have flipped initially in the summer when Michigan was still throwing dollars at him it would have been fine. But he pulls this stunt and decides to tell us 2 weeks out thats fricked.
frick that con.

Yeah, that whole thing was pretty low-rent.

Everyone has a price. He isn’t a con, just a 17 year old who kept having millions dumped in his face. He wanted to come to LSU. I hope LSU destroys him as he is now tiger bait.

He's not a con. This is what collage football is now. The programs with the $$$ will survive. The rest will be bottom feeders.

He's not a con, he made a life changing business decision. Good for him.

Although I agree with you, he isn’t the first to do this and far from the last, if anything at least he didn’t wait to signing day to embarrass us.

Do we even know that $10M was the actual final number? Could have been higher.

Dude, he’s a HS kid with millions from two schools dangled in front of him. Add in family pressure. I seriously doubt there was some plan to play LSU. This is modern CFB. Let it go.

Maybe it is that we are the Three Stooges (Sloan, Kelly, Woodward) for believing him.

I’m starting to despise college football more and more because of this bull shite.

It’s just the way he handled the whole thing that has me upset.
I have no problem with him going to Michigan.

Outside of never committing, what do you want a recruit to do if they are offered an obscene amount of money at the last minute?
Everyone has a dollar amount they can't refuse

Normally I don’t wish bad things on people but I hope he tears his acl first play of the game and his season is ruined

You mean Underwood was disingenuous when he said LSU was his school, until it wasn’t? No different than coaches who pledge their commitment to a school, then depart weeks later for more $$$.

LSU appears to be the program that kids love to use to get more money from the market.

Well, coaches are grown arse men who have been in the industry for twenty plays years and are out right lying to 85 college players and another 25 recruits under a 7 figure contract who are bolting for a higher 7 figure contract.
This kid changed his mind before signing anything and made he and his family generational wealth before taking a snap. Still a dick move, but in the scheme of things, he would've been a moron not to. And if you pay out the supposed $10M over three years, he will still be paid less than Jimbo Fisher and Tom Herman and Brian Harsin over the next 3 years. Certainly very fortunate for him, but not in the same league as what schools are blowing on guaranteed salaries for failures.
