I'm sure this topic has been explored on OT before.

I walk an hour every morning and want some fresh stuff to listen to. While I do enjoy current events and politics, I think I may have OD'ed on this content in the past year.

I do enjoy the "did you know?" type stuff, local history, philosophy but find many of these are 15 min long and then I'm in the woods trying to find something else to listen to.

Suggestions are appreciated.

I like The Rewatchables because Bill Simmons claims to know so much about movies and yet gets so much incorrect

Go to Dan Carlin’s website. Purchase Blueprint for Armageddon. It is 18 hours of the single most engaging podcast I’ve ever listened to. A long and detailed discussion of WWI. That may sound boring, but I assure you there is not a boring moment in the entire thing.

If you follow college football on a national level, Yahoo College Football Enquirer is great. Dan Wetzel, Pat Forde and Ross Dellenger.

Everything is tongue in cheek. Very humorous in a dry sort of way.

They usually put out 3 hour long episodes each week.

After doing this, go to Audible’s website. Purchase Storm of Steel by Ernst Jünger to get a primary account of the action.
