China doesn’t give a frick about clean technologies… Good luck.

Every country in the world that can do this should do this to kill China's subverted method to steal technology/ideas. It also helps the other countries create jobs.

But I was told that Chinese technology is shite and they can't manufacture anything. Our esteemed institutions and MSM pinky promised.
Meanwhile they produce more engineers and scientists than any other country. Of course it's always the uneducated that believes this propaganda. I had a janitor at work the other day explaining to me how China is a third world country

What is interesting is that China wont make the smartest people engineers or scientists. Their best people are forced to teach only. So there might be a reason Chinese engineering can be questionable at times.

I mean they have almost 20% of the world’s population.

Some of you guys need to get out of your MSM bubble.

cHiNa caNnoT iNnoVaTe!
Chinese scientists just published a breakthrough paper in prestigious Nature journal.
It’s about a novel way to create and manufacture of high-entropy alloys (HEAs).
“Compared to traditional alloy materials, HEAs are more resistant to wear, fatigue and corrosion, giving them significant potential in aerospace, medical equipment, as well as energy conversion and storage.”
The secret was to use gallium as a medium to bring otherwise incompatible metals together.
China leads the world in many critical technologies. It’s also #1 in publication of scientific papers — in quantity as well as quality.
But the US spreads buries its head in the sand and spreads fake news.

I don’t know what you are trying to say….
I am agreeing with you that even intuitively without any sort of internal forces they would be churning out a high proportion of the worlds engineers and scientists just by default
Add in that you have a government that is making a plan for domination and that drives that number even higher.
I ran all these numbers by my quant.

OK. We get it. In 20 minutes, you have five posts (so far) in your own thread sucking off China.

Fair enough
How much of it is built on the back of stolen IP from America, Japan and Europe?

My Bad. I wasn't referring to your post. I was just talking about the people in general who believe that China builds shitty products and can't manufacture anything without stealing technology. That might have been the case 20 years ago but just like Japan, China has become a beast with innovation and manufacturing

Well, we know their guided missile tech came from us.

Most of it is. More of it will be soon.

I understand China has stolen IP in the past but I clearly think we are way past that point now. When Europe wants the Chinese technology for solar and green products that is a clear admittance that China is superior in manufacturing those products.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing, but I think there is a pretty big asterisk involved here. The reality is we simultaneously funded China's ability to grow to the point they could innovate while they were stealing from us.

Its not about sucking anybody off. It is about admitting reality. Just like the housing bubble in 2008 people buried their head in the sand and look what happened.

I agree with that. The reality is with our help China has become a innovative and manufacturering beast. I just cringe when I still hear people say China can't build a good product and act like they are still some 3rd world country
