LSU hosts Charleston Southern at 7PM in the PMAC tonight (TV: SEC+)
Looking over CSU's schedule, I'm not expecting them to be very good.
@Clemson - L 64-91
@North Florida - L 66-90
vs Morris College - W 108-50
vs UTRGV - L 76-86
vs VMI - L 68-90
Line for the game is currently at 27.5, that should tell you what the expectation is for the game.
What would y'all like to see from the team tonight? This should be a scrimmage to get us ready for the Greenbrier tipoff.

I think we win by 30+ tonight and we go on to beat Pitt
I'm feeling very confident about this team

I'm hoping Reed can get more involved in the offense. We need to try to feed him in the paint early, we'll need him on the offensive side in SEC play.

Don’t you mean McMaction?

LSU only playing 1 game per week ? I was thinking today that the basketball team was due to play another game.

They will play on Friday and Sunday too.

This time of year it’s sporadic, we don’t get a consistent schedule until after new years but we have a tournament this weekend starting with Pitt on Friday.

Stop the damn turnovers!!!
Through the first 3 games they've averaged 14 per game. That's worst among all SEC teams. It killed them way too often last year, and it's going to mitigate good shooting nights again if they don't get it fixed ASAP! It's great to shoot 50% from the field. But if you are consistently taking 7, 13, 15, less shots than your opponent simply because you can't take care of the ball you are wasting scoring opportunities and increasing your opponent's.
LSU completely dominated KSU in every facet of the game last week...except turnovers. Without the 10 second half TOs KSU never gets the game to within 15. I don't say that to complain that it wasn't a great win. It's that turning the ball over so much wastes a lot of the good work in other areas (FG shooting, rebounding, defense) and keeps opponents in games they really shouldn't be in.

The turnovers increased as the ball movement stopped which happened when we condensed some of our sets. Stay spread, move the ball and play fast.

My hopes and expectations;
Carter to hit 50% from 3
Sears with 3:1 assist to TO ratio
Reed to score 15/7 boards with fewer than 3 TOs
Bailey to efficiently perform as he does
Collins with 3 blocks
Chest with one rebound per two minutes of action; 16 minutes+ played
Fountain with 6 rebounds and 2 steals
Givens with 3:1 assist to TO ratio
VMiller with two three-pointers
RMiller with two assists and one three-pointer
Defensively, hold them below 60.
One important last item: no injuries.
That’s not asking for much, is it? I guess you can say I’m looking forward to the next three basketball games

Actually excited to watch this team. So happy to be able to say that again. If we can win this one and beat Pitt and UCF/Wisconsin we will have the best resume in the month of November in the country

Is this game on SEC+ tonight?

according to ESPN, yes.
I believe all SEC home games at-least for basketball and baseball will be on SECN+ or something else on the ESPN networks, unless CBS or someone else picks it up.

Yeah....I don't know if I would quite go that far. There are a lot of good teams with a lot of good games left to play in November. For example, Gonzaga already has wins over Baylor and SDSU, with a potential matchup vs. Indiana. Auburn has a win over Houston with a game coming up vs. Iowa St in a loaded Maui Invitational field. Purdue has a win over Alabama and a game tonight vs. Marquette. That's followed up by a game vs. NC State and possibly Ole Miss. Kansas has wins over UNC and Michigan St, with a game coming up vs Duke
Best resume in the nation in the month of November? Probably not. Good resume in the first month of the season? Absolutely.

I would like to see the same team game that was displayed in the last game. Moving the ball well. Team defense.

That's what's bugging me. It's a trap game as the Tigers are focussed on Greenbrier. I think they'll be sluggish tonight and you'll see an Alabama State redux.
