We just went to Le Blanc in Cancun and it was really freaking great. Adults only. A tad expensive, but worth every penny.

We just got back from Excelence Oyster Bay Jamaica, highly recommend. Pretty new(2018) not crowded, lots of variety in restaurants.

Casa Velas Puerto Vallart

This was a great hotel, but not on the beach. All of the Grand Vellas properties are amazing though. Casa Velas is one of the smallest properties they have.

La Blac Los Cabos was another solid AI. If you are looking for an Adults only AI Secrets Maroma and Akumal are fantastic choices.

Secrets Maroma.

If you’re not aware of the seaweed problem in parts of Mexico and the Caribbean do your research. Some resorts don’t clean it off the beach and at times it can be overwhelming in the ocean and unswimmable. We lucked out at Maroma and had very little in June.

Go to Peter Island. 10-15 couples max and very high end. Then get back to me on hard to beat. It’s like a less expensive version of Necker Island.

Grand Velas is fantastic. I have been to the one in Cabo with my wife and I'm taking my family to the one in Riviera Maya.

CV Riviera Maya is amazing. The spa there one of the best ones on that side of Mexico.

I've already seen some excellent black Friday travel Tuesday deals this week that seem great value. Several good spots that are 50-55% off depending on when you can go this is one of the best times of year to pull the trigger on it if you are going.

Hyatt ziva Cancun has the best beaches, one on each side of hotel. Great food and very clean. Staff makes you feel like family.
