Joe Sloan should be also, and BK should actually take over play calling and earn his $10M salary. But he will probably think about it during his round of golf today, as he tips the beer girl bigly.

I’d argue that half those sacks were Nuss induced. If not more. Guys are open, he’s seeing ghosts

Dickson last night on the post game had a good observation: opposing DCs have completely figured Sloan out since A&M since they have enough video on him. That's how they've been able to shut us down.
They do not respect the run game, and if you take away AA, there goes the offense.
Sloan doesn't have the creativity to keep the play calling fresh and effective or keep DCs guessing. DeBoer said they knew what LSU was going to do before we did it last week.
Nuss isn't Daniels or Burrow, but his OC is making this impossible for him.

I dont think brad davis is the issue. I think its the OC, but i also think it would be dumb to fire him right now

I think the NIL portal should be like the free agency market is. You can get a player when you need one. That would help.

May just be me here but it seems as there is too much focus on the glitz and glamour of being at LSU and not as much focus on being absolute demons on the field. This team has underperformed and starts with the HC, but these both sides of the ball have been garbage as well. There is no excuse at all.

You are correct. How about when Nuss ran upfield but went down when he could have easily made it to a first down. That was the last straw for me. He isn’t willing to put his body on the line to win. Burrow did it.

Go back and look at Nuss after he threw the third int against A&M. The camera was on him and he was completely broken. Wild eyed and chewing on his mouth piece scared for his life. It’s been down hill since.

I’ve felt like this for a year or 2 now. It’s like we get some top rated athletes, and sadly it feels like the ones that get complacent are the homegrown ones. They made it to LSU and are now getting paid. It’s like they get here and the dog leaves them. Not sure how that gets fixed. Incentive based NIL?
other teams would crucify us.
