It looks like the Republicans will end up with 221. This race has finally been called, and there is still one race in Cali that should go R. Before the election, most thought that the Dems would win the House.

Between gerrymandering and illegal immigrants counting in the census, Democrats have about 20 additional seats they shouldn't have.

Yeah, Trump wins a landslide and the popular vote but barely has the house and senate. That only happens with cheating. Dumping 100k votes at 4am that go 90% for Democrats

Interesting I went to school with a girl who’s related. Also the Begich in Minnesota politics. Very democrat family. Maybe this guy woke up or he’s another murkowski. Either way, good news for the good guys.

Mark Begich is a Dem, but an old school Dem.

I met him when he was running for mayor of Anchorage. I was in a corporate scavenger hunt and one of the items was to get a picture taken with a politician.

I found out where he was giving a speech and went in there and told him "you arent gonna believe this...."

He played along wonderfully.

She's a joke. I love her "Pro Fish" platform, like anyone in Alaska is "Anti Fish."

If he’s an old school Democrat he would be Independent or Republican by now. They can talk all the middle of the road shite they want, they vote unanimously for the insane, destructive policies.

I think he's out of the game for good.

I voted for him over our Republican governor. Our Governors biggest campaign promise was paying more on the Permanent Fund Dividend.

Plus he shut it down for Covid.

The new “blackbelt” district 2 in Southwest Alabama is one of those. An Obama boot licker won it.

Trump has just below 50% of the popular vote. The Republicans have just I’ve half the HOR. It adds up.

And while Trump had a stunning win he didn’t win by a landslide. He won the popular vote with just sbout half the votes. That is not a landslide.

That district and the one here in La. we’re both constructed to make a minority district in each state.

Sounds awesome, but is meaningless. Didnt her husband die in a plane crash in the NW Arctic?

Whatever helps you sleep at night. Any by 2024 standards with a very polarized electorate yes this was a landslide.

The days of a 59-41 win like Reagan vs Mondale with 49 states are currently gone. If Trump is successful with deportation and voter ID requirement nationally (look up the margins in States that require voter verification) you’ll see landslides again as your ideology is hell bent on normalizing pedophilia and letting chicks with dicks compete with women on the playing field.

Look at a red / blue map of the country. The "reds" dominated. That's a landslide to most folks. And have not seen any recent numbers but the last I've seen has Trump winning the popular vote by 5,000,000. In any other context, that's a landslide, too.
