And raising my hand high as having been wrong about Donald J. Trump.

I know that it may be premature...we still have to see how much of this stuff can actually be accomplished in four years.

But if Trump does half the stuff he is talking about doing he may be the greatest POTUS in history. At least in the top 3.

And here's what I like the most about where he is right now:

1. Some of the stuff he's talking about doing he didn't even mention during the campaign. Oh, maybe he mentioned it in an off-the cuff speech at a rally, which he freestyles, but in terms of stating it as a definite plan and emphasizing it and arguing with the media about it, he didn't do that like he did in 2016 with building the wall and making Mexico pay for it.

In other words, they don't feel like empty campaign promises. They feel like he's had staffers look into how these things can actually be done. They feel like there is a plan.

2. He's appointing people who actually have a shot at doing the things he's talking about.

3. He's also appointing several people who are young and have 20+ years of politics still in front of them. Which means, if they are successful at carrying out this vision, Trump will literally have changed the culture of not only the Republican Party, but of the cult of Washington D.C.

He's not just doing his thing, he's empowering several young people to continue to advance this vision long after he's gone.

That's one thing I think people critical of his appointments are failing to understand.

If they are able to do even half of what he's talking about doing in four years, he will have had as much influence on the trajectory of the country and the government as Roosevelt, only in reverse. Whereas Roosevelt started the trend of growing the federal government that has continued to this day, Trump will have started a trend of shrinking it that will be reverberating long after he leaves office.

By the end of his term, we will all be very glad that Don lost in 2020.

It gave him time to lay the groundwork for this term.

I think Trump recognizes that if he doesn’t clean the swamp, the swamp with completely destroy his family, same with Elon

He has four years to end this or we are all screwed.

Greed. People who are greedy wil make concessions that benefit them. He can't overcome that, but he might just be able to put up bumpers on the government lane to keep politicians from veering off track.

I have a three year old son. Sister just had a little boy as well. I am over the moon for their future after Election Day. I have some hope we turned this shite around at the final seconds.

I would bet that if you were not a fan of Trump before the election you were watching media that did not report on these items. Everything he's doing now he has been talking about since the 2019 campaigning started. Even more so since assassination attempt #1.

Nothing he is doing right now (and that MAY change) is a surprise IF you weren't getting your info filtered.

ETA: and to my point above... one of those things is that the legacy media is an enemy of the people. Not him... voters.

The media wasn’t lying when they said he would be an existential threat and end to democracy

What they failed to mention is that their definition of democracy was keeping the status quo of their illegal agency structure that runs the country

The Agenda 47 videos that are just now getting widely circulated were published in Mar. 2023 and some of us did our best to draw attention to his specific policy plans back then.

The corporate media obviously ignored all of that, choosing instead to focus on the various sham lawfare trials in an attempt to influence the elections.

What makes you think this? How were you wrong? What did you think about him originally?

So it went from "We hate big government!!" to "We want the government to treat us like the Chinese and Russians!!""

Not a completely unsurprising notion, but completely lacking in any kind of standard or intelligence.

He has two years, for certain, while he has the congress. Everything he needs to do needs to be started or done before mid-terms.

He may really only have 6 months, if the deep state and/or radicalized lunatics try to Butler, PA him. He's got to move fast & furiously from Day 1.

Looks like they're setting a celebration timeline that kicks off July 4, 2026, based on their own public comments.
