Calling something a slide deck instead of just saying presentation
The a-hole that raises his phone to take a picture of a slide when the presentation is available online.
The Karen’s in the crowd asking a bunch of worthless questions when a break is pending. FWIW these same Karen’s are always juiced up at the happy hour.
The ‘remote’ presenter. Why am I here?
What you got OT. FWIW, the catered breakfast was slamming.

When you got to rush to the toilet before they all get contaminated!

Having to attend a conference presentation when I could get the exact same amount of info via an email or 10 minute phone call.

Every speaker that is the last to speak before lunch or at the end of the day of an all-day conference always has to make a joke apologizing for “getting in the way” of everyone’s food or happy hour. It happens every single time, it’s never that funny, and they’re wasting the time they claim they’re trying to get through quickly so we can get to our food and drink.

I've stopped going to those stupid panels and wannabe TED talks unless i'm on the panel and was forced to do it against my will. I just go hit the exhibition halls now and hang out with colleagues.

Younger people call a powerpoint a slide deck. Get with the times.

We’ve been calling them ‘decks’ for 10+ years.
Conferences with vendor sponsors (setup a booth, not a problem) who carefully wedge their sales pitches into the agenda (f off with that bs)

Going to a conference and not learning anything you don't already know.

If you finish the pot of coffee, start a new one please.

The slow demise of booth babes at OTC and moving our booth from its location by the ladies room where they changed into their booth dresses.
It was the highlight every year.

When people hold the microphone as far away from their mouth as possible, and you cannot hear a fricking thing they’re saying
….and they are ignoring people in the audience or on stage telling them to hold the mic microphone closer
