Unless you're really connected with the scene, just go BTC, ETH, SOL. You will not make life changing money with those, but they are safe. The good thing about eth and sol is that you can stake and gain interest while holding.

XRP is pretty stale at this point. As Brew said, just stick with the big 3 (BTC, ETH, SOL).
IF you buy anything outside of this, you'll get better returns on coins that are seeing their first bullrun, like SUI.

Not sure what you’re meaning by legit. It is as far as being a popular cryptocurrency sitting at a 14 billion dollar market cap. Just like DOGE at 50B. I would say that it’s “safer” in terms of being a meme coin, just like DOGE. Will it make u rich? Doubtful, unless you buy a big chunk of it. If you’re just wanting to throw a small amount at something, look at the smaller cap memes.
