I think this is unprecedented. That is, I believe this is the first time the voting public is WATCHING these guys pick the new Senate Leader.

There are 53 US Senators getting ready for the next Congress that are Republicans.
I know Kennedy, Cassidy, Johnson, Thune and Cornyn are RINOs. I think Collins and Murkowski are also.

Kennedy seems very vulnerable. When is his next primary?
Murkowski should have been gone a long time ago, but that damn Alaska ranked choice voting scheme she put in saved her sorry, dried up wrinkly arse. Seems like we are stuck with her for another 4 years, I think.

It's conducted as a secret vote. You can choose to believe the end results were an honest representation of the actual vote, or not.

Also, Texans are hating on Cornyn. The RINOs are probably trying to get him this seat to hope that it will protect him in his next primary.
I doubt it will, if Republicans run a great candidate. I would LOVE to see them run Brandan Herrera. He put the fear of God into Tony Gonzales this last primary and nearly knocked the RINO out in a district that should be solid Gonzales.
