How many rounds of golf did you play the 2 weeks prior to the Alabama game?
I doubt any sports journalist would have the balls to ask it. And it's not just a jab. I'm not close to being on the inside at all. But I have heard some soft grumbling about Kelly's intensity as a coach. I'm not suggesting he's at the Bo Pelini level of last coach at practice and first to leave. BK is in a comfortable spot. Sure he wants to win. But there are no real consequences for losing. BECAUSE IT DOES NOT AFFECT HIS POCKET BOOK.
He's not hungry. He doesn't coach like he is hungry and it shows on the field.
So, how many hours did BK spend in the last 2 weeks playing golf before the Alabama game? The answer is quite significant to the LSU football program.
ETA:
On Ott and Hanny right now:
"How many high school football games has BK attended? There aren't many 4 and 5 star players on the golf course. "
I kid you not.

What about the 7 months in the offseason to prepare for opening season losses (0-3)?

I’d rather know how many properties he’s looked at with his realtor. Think he’s very interested in real estate as an arse-et class.

LSU's first play of the game is indictive of the problem with this team since BK got here.

Most teams script the first 10,15 plays etc etc. LSU drops back play one and the receiver and Nuss weren't on the same page and if the Bama CB hadn't been surprised he could have picked 6 the damned thing.

So what were they working on for 2 weeks. Constantly ill prepared, week after week.

This is my biggest issue with these contracts. Why should he care if the team sucks? He’s getting $100 million regardless if he gives a shite or not.

ADs should hire professional negotiators, compensation should be linked to performance, ADs are intimidated by, and are buttfricked by agents, completely out of their element

It’s a job guys. He has a right to some personal time. lol.

I’m just as pissed as everyone else, but everyone deserves personal time.

I want to know why he was so complacent at the end of the first half. You didn't even attempt a hail mary being down quite a bit. Had an opportunity to create momentum and just took it to the locker room.

Either or is fine with me. Kinda depends on the score.

I think the question should be "have you considered a change at quarterback?"

True. But where would the team be if he put the time in like Jay Johnson does for baseball? BK makes a hell of a lot more money.

I’m not sure why you think that a Garrett Nussmeier Hail Mary is anything but an invitation for a defensive TD from a pick-six or fumble recovery.

Well, he came here to win a Championship, so I think that is his goal. He was making plenty enough money at ND.

I just think he got over confident after his first year, thinking by the 3rd year he would have a title. I mean Miles and Orgeron won in there 3rd year.

I think this blowout is what his ego needed. However, next year looks horrible offensively. The defense should be a little better, but that is not saying much.

We wouldn't have needed a hail mary if it hadn't been for the gross mismanagement of time. We keep burning timeouts earlier in the half and have none when we need them. Then they did not play with any sense of urgency. If you can't get into the red zone with a little over 2 minutes left, you have bigger issues then worrying about a hail mary.

He needs to gain some awareness and realize he’s soft as shite and won’t win a championship.

That is the Woodward way. Who would trust him to pick the next guy when we could finally get the money to kick BK to the curb. Jimbo and Kelly, I don’t want to see his next pick.
