What is the deal with both of these teams being decimated by injuries? This has to speak to the medical staff and conditioning staff. This is unreal.

You hope that things like this may make Pelicans and Saints to think about disassociating themselves from Ocshner. I think serious discussions have to be had.

They've had these same problems for years. At this point, it feels like the owners just don't care enough to make a change.

Can't blame the medical staff on this one. Injuries will happen but everyone for the most part comes back from injuries in a timely manner other than our star players ofcourse.

The medical staff handled this Zion situation the way the fans have been begging them to do for years. They held him out 2 games then when they felt he was ready to play they let him play as they should. You can't blame the medical staff for Zion being lazy and injury prone.
And our other injuries have nothing to do with the medical staff, DJ broke his hand, a guy fell on Herb shoulder after he was diving for a loose ball, CJ just seems to get a random injury that keeps him out a month each year. And Trey hurt his hamstring the first week of training camp.

Benson donates millions to Ochsner.
Great healthcare for athletes, can you imagine what they do for actual patients?!

Not only this, but players that leave NO teams remain getting hurt for at least 1 more season.
Wtf do they do to players? Can it be Jim Crow karma and Louisiana based or nah?
I honestly don't get it. I've never seen a team that EVERYONE gets injured and nobody comes back on time.
How is this not related if it happens so damn much to both franchises?

Oschner has nothing to do with the training staffs for the teams….
They are the medical staffs, they treat injuries after injuries happen, they have nothing to do with injury prevention though, Nick Underhill even talked about it

I recently completed a college certificate in Strength and Conditioning coaching...you are correct, this many soft tissue injuries is on the them .... the Yankees as a comparitive also have the same issue.
Guarantee you - without knowing the specific staff members, that our S/C staff well below the league standard.
Zion, for sure, is lazy as hell, but there is no excuse for this many injuries.
