And The play calling has been bad on those 4th down plays.. going deep both times come on get the 3 yards and the First Down.

Why go for 2? I don’t get it. Your season is on the line.

Because of the outcome of the Monday night game. Tampa tied it up and then never got the ball back after losing the coin toss in OT.

Does Zac Taylor call the defense or the offense?

Bengals have lost 3 games scoring 33+.
The rest of the nfl has done that once so far this year when the colts lost 34-37 to jags.

He is terrible and needs to go, bad play calling Joe’s whole career. I don’t hate going for 2 there. The defense lost it in second half, they couldn’t stop Lamar in the end. It felt like only chance to win was to convert AND stop them from getting to FG range with 38ish seconds left.

He’s the HC and consistently can’t find ways to win with elite QB play. It’s likely the entire franchise just sucking but he’s just not that good of a coach at this point.

Each did the wrong thing. Bucs clearly inferior team. Bengals have outplayed Ravens both games this year.

It's a fricking classic. People here only give a shite about the outcome. They'll twist like a pretzel to come up with reasons why "this one is different" or default to the good ole "I like going for it but don't like the playcall"

Tampa should have went for 2.
I agree the Bengals should have had as well.
If Chase wasn't the primary option, that's my issue

There was a blatant hold on the other Cincy TE on that play

Exactly... if my season is on the line, and my 2 best players are on offense, I'm going for 2 there. It'd be malpractice to leave it up to a coin toss and risk having to stop BAL's offense in OT when my defense is one of the league's worst.

Hold on both TEs and Joe got punched in the face.

It’s absurd how little they protect him just because he has balls and stays in the pocket.

If they kicked the extra point Baltimore could have had potentially two opportunities to win. One with 2 timeouts and 39 seconds in regulation. The second if they win the toss in OT. Good call going for 2. Bad play call. Baltimore was in man. Run routes all over for the win.

the short passing game was working for their first drive in the 4th Q, but on 3rd & 2 and then 4th & 2, they pass the ball deep, instead of just THROWING IT SHORT or running it to pick up 2 yards, or kicking a damn FG from the 34 to go up by 4

they pick the 2 worst decisions in that spot and turn it over on downs
