On Underhill’s latest podcast, he stated that his sources are telling him there are 3 jobs that Vbral has his eyes on and the Saints are not one of them.
I’ve seen his name tossed around a lot on here but I think we need to accept that we are not a great destination right now and will have to hire a 2nd tier or unknown coach.

I’m resigned to being bad for a few years, and that’s tough for any one to walk into. No QB and bad, old talent with no cap space.

He’s a name but he’s also a couple bad seasons away from being washed up.
I think we might be better off with a first-time coach if this is really gonna be a complete tear down and rebuild.

I like Vrable he would be a great choice but if Mickey make the decision
it will be either Arron Glen or Jon Gruden.Probaly the latter.

We honestly will just have to get lucky on our next head coach, which most know, we are probably the least desirable job in the NFL at this time. We will probably get the 4th or 5th choice of the head coaching candidates.
Then we have to a home run type of draft. In my opinion, if all that happens we are just an average team talent wise next year. We have to have multiple drafts in a row that are above league average.

We’re not going to be any of the top guys first or even second choice.
The most attractive thing we have going for us by far is an owner that will give the coach some time. That’s really it.

Payton wasnt some hotshot coach. He was Asst head coach/QB coach. Who is to say a hotshot OC like Brady cant get the job done? It doesnt have to be a former head coach.

Vrabel comes into my workplace a few times a year and have heard him say that he would never work for benson.

Well he also comes into my workplace (McDonald's). I always hook him up with extra fries, and I told em don't forget me when the saints call. He said he wouldn't. Done deal.

By us do you mean the 2 upvotes you have? Vrabel is a phenomenal coach. Yes he got passed up, so did Bill B to hire a perennial losing head coach in Morris.
