What's the deal with DeSantis supporters hating Susie Wiles? They are going crazy on X about her being COS.

I’m a big fan DeSantis, but oh well. It’s Trump’s administration. If he works well with Susie Wiles and thinks she can do a good job, then it seems like it was the right move to appoint her.

She ran DeSantis’ campaign in 2018 and then they had a pretty bad falling out.
And honestly, not sure why DeSantis would want a role in the administration. He’s better off finishing out his term as governor and then firing up his campaign after the midterms.

I still remember DeSantis’ campaign ad where he put his own bumper sticker over a Trump bumper sticker.

I’m also a Desantis guy, apparently she leaked to the press after she left. She did a great job running this campaign and is who Trump feels most comfortable with. Ron needs to continue doing great things in Florida.

Trump and Desantis are both type A personalities, Can’t see them ever working closely togethwr, nothing wrong with that. Desantis’s accomplishments stand on their own. I don’t think he would seriously consider any role in rhe administration.

Ron DeSantis took on the Republican Party of Florida at every turn in 2018 in his first run for governor. They absolutely hated (and to a degree still do) him.
Wiles was a RPOF insider for years, my guess is it stems from that

Is her being a county RNC co-chair for campaigns even a big deal? She was working to get the Republican candidate elected. It’s not like she had an important role at the nation level. Those were the real losers. Almost everyone here voted for McCain, Romney, and Trump.
