I wonder if President Trump is going to designate Mexican cartels as terrorists?

We're not quite there yet. I think he'll give Scheinbaum an opportunity to try to get things under control before taking action. If she tells him to get bent, we'll know that she's in the cartels' pockets and the gloves will come off.

He may not even bother with the paperwork. Dude droned an Iranian general on foreign soil with zero notice. I doubt he'd hesitate for a drug lord in the jungle.

NO.
If he does that, then it allows Mexicans crossing our border to declare asylum. That is very bad. That means millions of border crossings, followed by asylum claims, and court cases that can drag on for years.
We would rather he just start sending DELTA in, and killing them extrajudicially.

I fricking hope so.
I just this morning got an update on a guy I knew from college days.
Early 40's, white collar, middle class guy that Fentanyl & Heroin have completely taken over his life. Lost it all. His job, wife, young kids, college savings, 401K, etc. He still refuses to admit he has a drug problem & has pretty much conceded on all of the above that he has lost.
It's truly sad but he is the definition of a lost cause & probably won't be alive much longer considering the path he is on. It's only a matter of time.
It's amazing & scary as to how much destruction that needle can do.
I hope Trump goes scorched earth on those frickers.
