Escaped from a research facility. People have been advised to stay inside with locked doors and windows. None of the monkeys have been apprehended. Reminds me of a disaster movie where everyone dies.

Didn't activists release the monkeys in 28 Days Later? I saw the beginning before bailing.

Are they protesting the election results?

Remember that Ebola outbreak in Virginia? Luckily that was a monkey only Ebola strain. Hopefully we don’t have to worry about that shite

If that happened, I’m going to stay at my private island

If it’s those dumb little monkeys people try to raise as children, I’d LOVE to destroy every single one.

They are rhesus macaques from Indochina. Nasty little devils.

I remember back in the early 80’s there was a animal research center on the north side of Acadiana Regional Airport in New Iberia. Someone broke in and released many of the monkeys that were caged. I don’t remember if any were infectious but it caused quite an alarm at the time.
Any of you old timers remember that?
