I’m disappointed , and embarrassed that America chose authoritarianism over democracy. We’ve allowed someone with criminal histories to lead our country. I hope being Christian and white serves you well. When economic experts warn that electing him could lead to a recession, or when women lose healthcare access, elderly loved ones struggle to find proper care, remember this choice.
And when a person of color has a fatal encounter with police and the officer is granted immunity, remember—this is the leader you voted for.
Everything women and people of color have worked for the last three decades, is going out the door.
