The same areas are still voting the same way they always do. People literally don't give a shite about the name at the top of the Democrat ticket... They can literally run a potato and still win.

Republicans are currently R+3 in the House of Representatives. This is a chamber of Congress they've been picked to lose for about 8 months.
They're in incredibly close position to being R+3 in the Senate.
