Neither make Atlanta. Aggy has the H2H but LSU’s resume is better. Who gets the playoff nod?

If LSU wins out, there's a massive chance they get to Atlanta.

SEC FB Tiebreaker Calculator

Credit the poster Boat. I saw this on the SEC Rant.

If LSU wins out, they are in the SECCG regardless of what the other teams do.

If LSU wins out they’ll 100% be in Atlanta.

Imo we do not want this. If OM wins out then they’ll get a bye and a playoff spot.

Maybe. Or maybe they get left out because there are 4 other SEC teams with 2 or fewer losses.

OTOH, win the SECCG and you’re guaranteed a playoff spot and a bye. On top of you know.. winning an SEC championship.

I think the bye is the biggest factor.

LSU is going to Atlanta if they win out. They have the tie breaker in all scenarios to my knowledge even if Texas am wins or loses.
We prefer a win the we get Am again w/ an automatic 1st round bye

All except one very specific scenario where UGA wins out, Texas wins out, and Auburn and Mississippi State pull off multiple upsets.

Technically it’s a couple of scenarios depending on the combination of upsets but it’s highly unlikely at this point. Vandy beating Auburn + A&M losing to SC went a long way to guarantee LSU a spot in the SECCG if we win out.

Their loss to ND is not relevant in the SEC race. If LSU wins out and Texas beats Aggie, LSU will be 7-1 in SEC play and Aggie will be 6-2. So they are out.

Not happening with the run game being non-existent.

I hear what you're saying, But as long as we're in the discussion, I can endure them.
