Those 23 pts would not have given them the win…are we back in it? Sure, but man I can’t get that out of my mind

Of course all that isn’t guaranteed

The problem with our offense is that everything and I mean everything relies on Nuss. If he has a bad game we are absolutely fricked. Expecting a first year starter in the sec to never have a bad game is dumb as frick. I've never seen such a great pass blocking oline have zero ability to run block. We are literally one of the worst teams in cfb in yards before contact.

The scheme is terrible too. That doesn't help matters.

No scheme looks good if you're one dimensional...
The scheme has us 18th in offensive yards per play but we are 7th in the country % of our total yards being passing...73% of our yards come from passing
We are 130 out of 134 in run play called %.

I think if we were just average at running the ball the scheme would be fine.
But you could be right...

We are 130th out of 134th in the % of our offensive plays being called run plays.

But you could be right...just hard to judge being so one dimensional

Let's face it, the strictly drop back qb is an anachronism.

Why do people reflect on the past so much. LSU lost to the better executed team that night. Moving on. It’s that simple.

why can you people not understand that yes, LSU should have won the game, but the entire team quit in the second half for one, and it had a lot to do with playing in a very hostile environment. For whatever reason, you guys just can't wrap your hands around that it is tough to win on the road in the SEC against a good team, and yes, A&M has 5 SEC wins so far with Auburn up next...they are a good team.

aside from Arkansas, they show us week after week after week that they cannot run block (even against Nichols) and that our OC/BK has no creativity running the ball. I think the last thing we can add to try and run it some is the QB draw in the right situations. It will be there, and Nuss won't have to think about running...he will just run.

I like Nuss but after watching games yesterday I think duel threat QBs is the best way to go.

It’s not the Oline, it’s the scheme.

If you're IFfing on missed points, what about missed points for potential TDs instead of missed FGs?

Thats my biggest issue. If in game 8, you still can't run the ball at all, why are we not seeing noticeable changes in scheme? Where is the Thomas runs we've seen early in the season. Jet sweeps, screens..... SOMETHING. We obviously can't run between the tackles. Are our blocking schemes changing that I don't notice, or are we sticking with the same stuff?

Brutal. The score should have been even worse than it was. Did anyone really think Ramos had a shot with the first or second FG attempt? Should have gone for it or punted. Couldn’t run the ball. Nuss INTs were awful. And last but not least, there was a near 0 % chance Reed would give up the ball on any 3rd down read-options and our D still couldn’t stop it. Complete and total breakdown primarily of coaching - both scheme and in-game coaching.
