Love my bullseye. It could very easily be a one smoker/grill solution, though I do still have my gas grill.

Have had a 590 for 3 years now. Not sure if the quality has changed since I bought mine, but it was well worth the $$.

I have never had any sort of issues with mine. However, I use mine as a smoker, not a grill. I have a Weber and Blackstone for cooks requiring higher heat. The hottest my Recteq has ever been ran was in the initial but in.

I've had the 700 for about 4 years now and absolutely love it. Built like a tank.

I have a 700, it's great. I cook from 200 to 500 and I compare it to an outdoor oven. I use mine several times a week, I never use the oven in the summer.

I'm considering adding a bullseye for higher heat cooks. I'm just lazy and use my Weber kettle when I do steaks so I never pull the trigger. I probably will if the do some black Friday deal that really good.

I got one for Christmas. I’ve never owned a gas grill only charcoal and offset stick burners. The sheer ease of turning it on and leaving it alone for 5 or so hours is pretty impressive to me. The grill does in fact get very hot if you want to sear. The challenge come that if there’s any residual grease it will catch fire above 350 degrees. Once it burns off it’s good to go just don’t forget to burn it off prior to putting food on the mfer. I ruined about 6 lbs of sausage I was planning to bring to an event a few weeks ago. The augur on mine got stuck over the summer and I YouTubed a fix but I couldn’t figure it out. Called them up and they walked me through it and shipped me a replacement augur for free.

Yes, you can grill on it easy. I have a pan in the bottom to catch drippings, so heat is a little deflected around. You can get it to 600+ for a sear, but it's not necessarily a direct flame.

Build quality is solid. No issues.

Could I get rid of my gas grill? Yes.

When my gas grill goes out will I replace it? Yes, with a griddle.

Yes, it'll get up to 750 degrees in riot mode.

It's built pretty well. As long as you keep it clean and covered you shouldn't have any issues. I burn grease off of mine after every cook so I've never had a flame up. It's 4 years old and just starting to show some signs of rust on the body. From what I've read if you cook on riot mode a lot it messes with the stainless and lets it rust. I quit using riot after reading that.
